Seasonal and, whenever possible, regional ingredients come together in a cozy atmosphere that brings a sense of nature into the middle of Berlin.

Born in the heart of Alte Münze, a cultural hotspot, The Greens is a café where connection comes first. Upstairs, our tables and couches are arranged so you can enjoy a quiet moment alone or effortlessly join the conversations around you. Our laptop-friendly policy encourages collaboration, while downstairs offers a cozy, offline space for uninterrupted chats. Beyond coffee, we host a variety of community events, from workshops and talks to live music, bringing people together in new and exciting ways. Come for the coffee, stay for the community.
Sustainability has been a guiding principle not only in our menu but also in the design of our interior. A lovingly restored espresso machine, wood paneling salvaged from Berlin apartments, vintage kitchenware from the 1950s, and decorative pieces from local flea markets create a warm, authentic atmosphere.
Our connection to the Alte Münze community and the neighborhood around Molkenmarkt is equally important to us. We make use of donated kitchen tools and flowers, feature a large wall mural by the resident collective Drink&Draw that reflects our love of nature, and regularly host artist and craft workshops open to everyone.
